Marathon Runners
From Megaphone:
Thanks everyone for your support and comraderie! I
really do love the DE Marathon day for our group as so
many of us are racing, and then relaxing and partying
afterwards. I really want to thank Scottie "Mr.
Consistent" Hodukavich who escorted me throughout the
whole 26.2, putting up with my complaints and my
walking with no dissent. Maybe he knew all along then
he was going to finish with the exact same time as his
previous marathon. It was also really cool to see
every Rebel runner out there at some point, whether
doing the full or a relay leg.

Hey,
Results are posted already. Another excellent crew of relay teams this year.
Last year's Rebel relay record of 3:19 by Team Killidin was smashed this year by the Rebel Garduates.
And again, Wes was faster than any Rebel relay team. I think he should just register next year as
his own team, running all 4 legs himself. Maybe that's not fair to the other relay teams since he
wouldn't have to deal with passing the chip. But he'd be guaranteed to win the Rebel category -
and take home 4 bobble heads just for himself.
Relay Place 10 17 29 45 71 72 |
Team Name REBEL GRADUATES REBEL ELEMENTARY REBEL KINDERGARTEN
REBEL HIGH SCHOOL REBEL PRESCHOOL REBEL JUNIOR HIGH |
Chip Time 3:14:02 3:20:55 3:29:47 3:39:03 3:49:58 3:50:38 |
And of course not only did Wes conquer the course, Trish & Dan took it by storm as well. I enjoyed
running with Megaphone although I'm sorry he was not feeling his best towards the end. Personally I
have to say I run a consistent marathon. I've only run 2. My gun time for the Philly marathon in
2005 was 3:59:58. My gun time today was 3:59:58. So don't call me a 4 hr marathoner - cause I'll
have you know - I have not yet run one over 4 hours....
