2006 Delaware Marathon Celebration: Tailgate Party

Rebels staked out an area of parking lot right next to the course so we could keep track of each other and cheer on all the runners. After the race, it became a party zone as we took advantage of great weather.

The Rebels always enjoy a great party after a good run. We even invited Spark over to visit. Beer, soda, BBQ, chips, sandwiches and even some leftover Gatorade. [What was that lousy sports drink out on the course?]

Rebels "Sparked" to Great Performance
With the "friendly" rivalry of our arch-enemy Spark team, all Rebel teams finished in the top 50% on a lovely day for a run. Our own taigate party to follow added extra incentive to leave it all on the course.
